ASP.Net Developer
Blackstone Media is a web development company in need of a motivated, skilled and disciplined ASP.NET programmer to work on our software development team. This position will be working full-time at our offices in the Starks Building in downtown Louisville.
Strong knowledge of C# in a web environment is a must! There will be a test. An ideal candidate would be someone whose friends (if they have any) are constantly annoyed by how much they talk about programming. Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2005/2008, and .NET Framework 3.5 knowledge are absolute requirements.

A good candidate will be:
- Able to work well under pressure and deadlines
- Organized and punctual
- Passionate about programming
- Capable of independent research
- Able to write well (spelling, punctuation, and grammar!) outside of an IDE
- A team player but able to take an assignment and run with it
- Able to set personal deadlines and meet them
- Familiar with and follow industry best-practices (e.g. source control, self-documenting code)
A great candidate will also be:
- Very familiar with IIS
- A Javscript guru
- Willing to step up and take the lead as our software development team grows (and it will!)
