Blackstone Media team members Taylor Trusty and Ty Goss had a fantastic time at the Ten Kids new office launch party on Saturday, November 15, 2008 in Lexington, Kentucky. Blackstone Media also unveiled Ten Kids’ new website organization as part of our sponsorship, and we were invited to attend the launch party of the new office they recently opened in Lexington.

Gip Gibson, the founder of Ten Kids, organized an incredible event that included a silent auction, free appetizers courtesy of Annette’s Catering, and attendance by several families positively affected by the charity in Haiti. Most of the evening involved a silent auction on items that had been donated to Ten Kids from various organizations. There were items to bid on from cooking and dipping oils, to theater tickets, Ten Kids t-shirts, and day spa sessions. They also had a raffle drawing for a new Nintendo Wii game system!

Gip had everyone in attendance who had contributed sign a poster and a soccer ball. He plans to take the soccer ball with him to give to the kids in Haiti during his next trip.

We thank Gip for giving us the opportunity to play a small part in supporting such a great cause.
